    Plaquenil = Rash? lupus Since the drug is cumulative in its effects you may be having an allergic reaction. My Father had the same reaction took him 3 weeks to develop it and he had to stop. It took 2 weeks for the rash to go away, but it was the Plaquenil. Now he's on Methotrexate and doing well.
