I'm from Indian sub continent and am a "woman of colour like urself" approx 2 years ago had sudden deep painful itch in scalp and body. Yes I have been on this med since 2003 and I have black patches all over.

I have been on Plaquenil for two years for RA, for which it has been great apart from a bit of itchiness, which I've mentioned elsewhere on this site in reply to another member asking about this.
